As we said in our blog post above; we were quite happy with the member of staff who came to the house – she simply informed us that a fully furnished house would not return us any more money over renting it out un-furnished, which we felt was a bizarre situation. It was that that which actually prompted us to speak to other agents as we didn’t want to offer a furnished house, that would incur all of the maintainance costs associated with a furnished property.

In terms of the only other feedback that I could offer you was down to email; replies to email were slow – but I recall at the time your email server had crashed, and everything was being recovered so that is understandable.

All in all, I think that you came out at the top of the pile with Northwood of all of the Newcastle Under Lyme letting agents. The rest of them that we did talk to – Reeds Rains, Butters John Bee (BJB Lettings), Bridgefords were absolutely abysmal.
